TrimSpa distributor files for bankruptcy protection (The Star-Ledger)

The maker of diet supplement TrimSpa, promoted by Anna Nicole Smith before her death last year, filed for bankruptcy protection today. Goen Technologies, which had been based in Whippany but listed an East Hanover address in court filings, said it had $1.4 million in assets but $30 million in debts.
